WidgetFX and Apress together have announced the WidgetFX Developer Contest. The contest aims to promote the use of WidgetFX and JavaFX to develop desktop widgets. All one has to do is:
1. Download the Widget 1.2 SDK
2. Develop a desktop widget that runs in WidgetFX
3. Submit the Widget to the Widget Library
Prizes to be won:
1st Place: 12 Free Books
2nd Place: 3 Free Books
3rd Place: 1 Free Book
Books are from any of the Alpha or eBook found on Apress Website in electronic format.

No restrictions on submission of entries.
