Details:
Application are invited from eligible candidates of Rajasthan domicile including the wards of Kashmiri Migrants for the registration of Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test RPET- 2009 for admission to first year of undergraduate programmes leading to Bachelor’s degree in different disciplines of Engineering (B Tech / BE) in various Govt. aided and Private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan (except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other Deemed & Private Universities) for the session 2009-2010

Eligibility Details:
Agro-based Industry/Farm Mechanics and Post-harvest Technology/ Soil Conservation & Rural Construction Technology
Eligible Minimum Qualifying Marks
Open Competition (OC): 55% aggregate in the four qualifying subjects as mentioned above
Backward Class(BC) and Backward Class Muslims(BCM): 50% aggregate in the four qualifying subjects as mentioned above
Most Backward Class(MBC)/Denotified Community (DNC) : 45% aggregate in the four qualifying subjects as mentioned above
Scheduled Caste(SC)/ Scheduled Tribe(ST): A pass in qualifying examination with above four qualifying subjects
D. Number of Attempts to Pass
Maximum number of attempts to pass in the Qualifying examination for admission to all the courses are as follows :
SC/ ST: Three
Others: Two
AGE LIMIT for TNAU UG Admissions
Candidates should not have completed the age of 21 years on the first day of July of the admission year for all the courses. However, for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes there is no age limit
1. The minimum academic qualification for admission to B Tech / BE program in Rajasthan is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan.
2. Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission to B Tech / BE course shall be as under:
Compulsory Subjects for RPET- 2009- Physics & Mathematics
Any one of the optional subjects: (1) Chemistry (2) Bio-technology (3) Computer Science (4) Biology
Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination (10+2) in 2009 may also apply.

How to Apply :
The Application Form along with all relevant material will be available for sale from 2nd April, 2009 from the following branches of UCO Bank during banking hours (10.00 AM to 4.00 PM, on Saturday 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM) against cash payment of Rs. 700/- (inclusive of examination fees).

Important Dates:
Application Form duly filled along with relevant documents as per Information Booklet should reach to Coordinator RPET-09, Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, W-6, Residency Road, Jodhpur – 342 032 by 5.00 P.M. of 25th April, 2009, irrespective of the fact that whether 25th April, 2009 is a working day or not. RPET-09 Application Form received after last date and time all not be accepted.
RPET-2009 will be conducted on 18th JUNE, 2009
