If you were born from 1984-1986 inclusive and want to kick-start the process of leading both your country and your generation, they want to connect to you! They are leading the international hunt for the next generation of global leaders for a live event called ‘One Young World’. This will take place in London. 1,500 young leaders will be selected through our voting system to participate from 192 countries around the world.
By nominating yourself as a candidate you will start the process that could result in you making a real difference. By participating, your voice will be heard internationally and you will get to meet counsellors such as Bob Geldof, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Kofi Annan.
The One Young World delegates will address six key issues at the Summit in 2010:
* Developing Political Leadership for a positive future
* Global Business and its role in shaping society through the economy
* Inter-faith dialogue
* The Environment and its protection
* The Media, its changing identity and its power
* Global Health, its polarities and impact
