Since 1997, H.M.Seervai Essay Competition has been one of the most prestigious essay competition for Indian Law students. The Theme selected for 2009 is “Separation of Powers: Constitutional Plan and Practice”. The best essay would be awarded a Gold medal at the Annual Convocation of NLSIU Bangalore. Some other deserving essays may be considered for publication in NLSIU Journal.
Essay guidelines:
Essay should be original, in English and not exceeding 10,000 words, including foot notes and references.
Eligibility :
Any L.L.B Student from a recognised University in India

Deadline for Essay submission: July 15, 2009
