About National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) :
National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development, popularly known as NIPCCD, is a premier Institution devoted to promotion of voluntary action, research, training and documentation in the overall domain of Women and Child Development. Established in the year 1966 as autonomous institution under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, the Institute functions under the aegis of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India with its Headquarters in New Delhi. In order to cater to the region – specific requirements, the Institute has setup four Regional Centres at Guwahati (1978), Bangalore (1980), Lucknow (1982) and Indore (2001).

The Institute is responsible for overseeing training of personnel of Integrated Child Development Services, the world’s largest, public funded child support programme. Recently, the Department of Women and Child Development has contracted NIPCCD to act as a national level ‘Lead Training Agency’ for Rural Women’s Development and Empowerment Project which is currently being implemented in the States of Bihar, Haryana, Karnataka, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh in collaboration with International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) and International Development Association.

Eligibility:
Masters Degree in Social Work/Psychology/Child Development or Graduate in the same field with minimum five years of experience of working with children or B.Ed with minimum of four years of experience.

How To Apply:
National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development invites Applications for One-Year Regular Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counselling Course. Application form and the Prospectus can be obtained from Publication Officer (Room No. 003) at the address given below on cash payment of Rs 200/-from 21 August, 2009. The last date of receipt of duly filled in Admission Form is 11 September, 2009. The admission will be based on scores in Entrance exam and Personal interview which will be held at the Institute’s Headquarters at New Delhi from 23-24 September, 2009.
