The B-Plan Contest is an annual event which presents before young and aspiring entrepreneurs an opportunity to be original, innovative, showcase their zeal, passion and commitment and hence live their dream. The B-Plan Contest provides a platform for entrepreneurial spirit to showcase the business plans to an eminent jury comprising the industrialists, VCs and other financial institutions like SIDBI, etc. The winners here get a chance to receive seed funding of Rs.1 crore from Seedfund Advisors Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai.
The B-Plan Contest at Empresario is a 3 stage contest: Stage I (The Prelims) , Stage II (B-Plan Submission), Stage III (The Mentorship).Each team with mentors along side will present its B-Plan to an eminent jury during Empresario 2009. The jury will include some of the leading VCs, Incubators, Bankers, etc. from the industry. The jury will select top 3 b-plans and winners will get a chance to receive seed funding.
The only of its kind in India, The Empresario B-Plan Contest at NITIE, attracted more than 350 entries last year. The one month mentorship provided to the 5 finalists proved to be very useful in bringing out some of the best B-Plans. The winners here get a chance to receive seed funding of Rs 1 CRORE from Seedfund Advisors Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai.
The event is open to all the Students of Management, Technology and Engineering institutions across Asia-Pacific region.
