About MindTEXT:
MindTEXT is an online journal brought out by Centre for Public Policy Research. Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR) was formed in 2004 by individuals who believed in Freedom of Expression, Rule of Law and Right to Livelihood. CPPR is constituted as a Trust for the purpose of carrying out its objectives for the benefit of the public at large, irrespective of class, community and creed.

MindTEXT’s first issue came out in May 2006. Now in its new online avatar, MindTEXT is being launched in May 2009. MindTEXT hopes to be an online forum for people to exchange and disseminate thoughts, ideas and opinions about contemporary socio-economic and political events of national and international importance.

Eligibility:
Under graduate or Post graduate students pursuing journalism or mass communication courses , English literature & students of any other discipline but is interested in the project.

The Internship aims :
1. To provide relevant exposure and experience to interested students to work on an online journal which focuses on contemporary socio-economic and political issues
2. To build a team of youngsters who can understand socio-economic and political issues of today by thorough research, analyse the various issues and recommend solutions to problems
3. To advise and coach them in writing impactful articles with a strong focus on finding solutions to problems

Scope of the Project:
1. Be a part of the MindTEXT editorial team
2. Assist in soliciting articles by corresponding with prospective contributors
3. Play an active role in editing and proof reading articles
4. Be a part of the process of continuous evolution and improvement in the functioning of the journal

Working conditions of Interns:
1. The interns can be located anywhere in India
2. The interns are expected to devote 20 hours every week for the project
3. The internship will be unpaid but the intern can look forward to a learning experience
