Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Admissions 2011
The program will have 40 papers to be covered in Six trimesters. Besides 23 core courses, 10 first elective courses and 5 second elective courses, there will be 2 more courses carrying 100 marks each viz. 1. Simmer training & Report and 2. Dissertation and Viva Voce. After three terms a student is required to undergo summer training for 8 weeks in a designated company arranged by the institute carrying 100 marks. Before the completion of the program a student has to submit a dissertation report on a subject mutually decided by the student and his/her guide carrying 100 marks. During 1st & 2nd terms of study, students are exposed to all core subjects underlying the concepts and practices of management in various organizations and the electives are offered from 3rd term onwards. The areas of electives are: Marketing, Finance, Production, Systems, Human Resource Management, General Management
Eligibility:
The minimum qualification for admission into this program is Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
Selection Procedure:
The selection will be made on the basis of scores of MAT, conducted by AIMA followed by G.D. & P.I, which will be conducted at Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Guwahati, Raipur, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi and other parts of the country. The date for G.D. & P.I. will be declared later.
Fees:
The candidate applying through online or seeking application form by post has to remit Rs.600/ – (Six Hundred) only through a Bank Draft in favor of “IMIS, Bhubaneswar” payable at Bhubaneswar . For online applicant, on receipt of the DD, IMIS will authenticate the payment details and will send a mail to confirm the acceptance of the application form for admission 2011.

Upon completion of the application form an Identification No (ID) will be allotted to the candidate. Please note this ID Number for further correspondence.
A candidate can also purchase the application form & Info-bulletin by sending the application fee and the same can be submitted to IMIS by post.
