Eligibility:
Should be pass in 10+2 examination from recognized Board/University with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects alongwith anyone of the following subjects:- (a) Chemistry (b) Bio-Technology(c) Computer Science (d) Biology OR Have passed diploma course in Engg./Technology of three years duration or more from State Board of Technical Education,Haryana or its equivalent diploma examination.
2nd year (3rd semester) of 4 years B.E./B.Tech. under LEET A Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology course of a duration of three years or more from Haryana Board of Technical Education or its equivalent in the relevant branch with a admission 60% marks in the aggregate of all semesters. OR A canddiate must have passed the Degree in Science (B.Sc) with mathematics as a subject and with a minimum of 60% marks in the agreggate.
NOTE: Candidates with diploma in Architecture are eligible to seek admission under Lateral Entry programme only for B.E/B.Tech.Civil Engg. Candidates with any other recognized diploma of three years in any branch of Engg./Technology awarded by the institution/University/State Board of Technical Education approved by AICTE would also be eligible provided he/she has obtained 60% marks in aggregate in all semesters.As per MHRD instructions, the diploma of two years duration after 10+2 would be considered equivalent to diploma of three years duration for the purpose of admission under lateral entry scheme provided a candidate obtains 60% marks in the aggregate of all semesters.Similarly,the candidates possessing diploma with at least 60% marks in the aggregate of all semesters after certificate awarded by Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology are eligible to appear in LEET.
