About AustCham Beijing:
Founded in Beijing in 1996, The China-Australia Chamber of Commerce’s (AustCham Beijing) overriding goal is to advance Australian Business in China. It functions to provide members with the information, resources and contacts they need to succeed in China. The Chamber maintains a good working relationship with the Australian Embassy and with the various Australian government departments in China.
Details:
The ACC AustCham Scholarship is a joint initiative developed in response to Australia’s growing economic, cultural and political relationship with China. The scholarship is designed for students who have a long term passion for strengthening this relationship through their business or cultural pursuits.
A typical candidate will be in their final year of studies (or have recently graduated) and have undertaken China focused work experience or academic studies. Although Mandarin language skills are not required to apply for this position, candidates who have taken the initiative in developing core cultural and language skills will be highly regarded. Scholarship alumni will from the base of Australia’s young, China focused, business and cultural leaders.
