Job Description:
- News editing. Edits stories as required, with an eye toward clarity, accuracy and consistency with SNL procedures.
- Training. Works one-on-one with editors and writers in India and Pakistan offices to improve written English of existing India/Pakistan news workforce.
- News writing. Writes stories as assigned.
- Completes other assignments or projects as assigned.
Desired:
- High-level written English language ability. Minimum 1 ½ years of journalism or equivalent external experience preferred.
- Prior news writing experience such as a newspaper, magazine or newsletter.
- Fluency in journalistic areas (AP style, libel issues, etc.) Editorial skills helpful.
Location: Ahmedabad
Education: Any Graduate / Any PG Course
